Don't say "upgradation," say "upgrade"

Don't say that:

Do say this:

We have no idea how or why someone chose to write "upgradation" in the headline to an article recently.

We can only assume it was someone who wanted to sound more clever than he is and instead ended up sounding stupid and, worse, made his publication look even worse because no one spotted it and told him to change it.

We can't identify the person who wrote it: he doesn't put any form of identifier on his articles or, indeed, anywhere on the website where we found the abomination.
