minor v miner
Don't say that:
The minor was looking for gold
or
it was a miner problem
Do say this:
The miner was looking for gold
or
it was a minor problem
Why?:
A person who mines for something is a "miner."
"Minor" means "small."
A person who is not of full age, often that means less than 21 or less than 18 years old, is a "minor" and is generally subject to additional protections or restrictions under the law.
